| Wow, it has almost been an entire year - I cannot believe it. I guess the novelty of Xanga wore off pretty fast for me, so I found it very difficult to find the motivation to write anything. But today, I am back to surfing the net for 8 hours a day at my new MIT job. I am working in the Admissions Office (HAHAH!) for 6 months, so I again have plenty of time and motivational boredom to write xanga entries.
And for my first blog topic in almost a year, there is nothing more appropriate to write about than the red sox. if you missed the game (or refused to watch it out of some absurd act of red sox rebellionism), I'm sure i dont need to tell you how bad you should feel. I was almost hoping they would lose, just so I wouldnt have to endure the constant emotional shifting between elation and near heart failure. To top it all off, they are facing the Yankess for the American League Championship. The most humorous part of this whole thing is that I'm not even a baseball fan. I just get excited to see the Red Sox win because, having been born in Boston, I was implanted as an infant with that infamous red sox gene. |
